The doctors and staff at Adelaide Medical Centre are proud to deliver the highest standard of patient-centered care to the community in Belsize Park, Hampstead, Swiss Cottage, Primrose Hill, Chalk Farm and Camden. We have always had a named GP for each patient to embed this ethos in the practice. We have bookable early (Mon & Fri), late (Wed) and weekend (Sat am) appointments, as well as emergency clinics every weekday. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal & postnatal care, childhood & travel vaccinations.

We offer both face-to-face and phone appointments.

To book an appointment on the day, please call at 8.30 am.

For all results, please call after 2pm.

If you believe you need a Face to Face appointment, please make that known to staff; otherwise, you will be offered a telephone appointment.

In addition, the guidance for COVID is that patients should wear a face mask if they have respiratory problems on site.

Information on Polio and How to book an appointment 

Following the discovery of a type of vaccine-derived poliovirus in sewage in North and East London, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has advised that a targeted inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) booster dose should be offered to all children between the ages of 1 and 9 in all London boroughs. 

Parents of children who are overdue their immunisations, and children eligible for booster or catch-up doses, are contacted to come in for an appointment by the practice.

The Camden Imms Team are now set up and ready to be able to vaccinate children as well. The families with 5-9 year olds can now arrange to visit Peckwater, which will be helpful as the sessions are after school.

The NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme is now underway in the UK. All of our eligible patients will receive an invitation to be vaccinated. Please do not call the Practice to make an appointment as we cannot make Covid vaccination bookings.
